Certified Pilates Instructor/Owner

Barbie Meierhoefer discovered her passion for Pilates over 20 years ago and immediately recognized it as a powerful form of exercise that builds strength, flexibility, and balance for everyone. Pilates helps individuals stand tall and lean by targeting the core—stomach and back muscles—without adding bulk. Barbie trained under master teacher Maria Leone of Bodyline Beverly Hills, gaining the expertise to teach students of all abilities while keeping classes fun, safe, and dynamic. With over 15 years of experience, Barbie has taught a wide range of clients across various ages and fitness levels. She finds it incredibly rewarding to see her clients improve their fitness and overall health. Barbie is committed to keeping her classes fresh by introducing new exercises while staying true to Pilates’ core values. She enjoys introducing new students to the joy of Pilates and helping skeptics realize that Pilates is for every body. Barbie looks forward to guiding you toward the positive results Pilates can bring.

Anna Satterfield

Certified Balanced Body Pilates Instructor

With 14 years of experience teaching both group and private sessions, along with four years in Studio Management, Anna combines expertise and compassion in her classes. Having undergone injury and surgery as a dancer, Pilates played a key role in her healing journey, inspiring her to help others alleviate pain, build strength, and move functionally. Experienced in training athletes, pre/post-natal women, and active aging clients, Anna is also expanding her knowledge to assist those with neurological conditions. Passionate about movement, she is dedicated to helping you achieve your fitness goals, whether you’re new to Pilates or a seasoned practitioner. Stronger together—book your class today!

Jennifer

Jennifer Mirich

Certified Balanced Body Pilates Instructor

Born and raised in Reno, Nevada, Jennifer’s passion for dance, movement, nature, and art led her to Pilates in 2000. With 7 years of experience as a Pilates instructor for Balanced Body, she trained at Turning Point Studio in Oakland and completed her Balanced Body certification upon returning to Reno. With 20 years as a Massage Therapist, Jennifer has extensive knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology. She is passionate about how Pilates helps unwind movement patterns, build strength, and rehabilitate injury. Currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Social Work at UNR, Jennifer is an encouraging instructor eager to welcome you to Perfect Fit Pilates!
